Friday Finds: Got Water? Becoming Fearless (Free!), SBBC + More!

unicef tap

Take this challenge: Go without your phone to help give clean water to children in need. Don’t freak out – it is only for 10 minutes! Take the challenge on your mobile phone HEREUNICEF Tap Project is working to help the 768 million people around the world without access to clean water. This year you can help by taking a challenge to give up access to something far less vital than water–your cell phone.

For every 10 minutes you don’t touch your phone, sponsors and donors will make a donation to support the UNICEF Tap Project based on the time you went without your phone. Click HERE to learn more. This one is a no brainer – thanks to Daily Candy for the heads up!

The Mentors Channel, in collaboration with Arianna Huffington has created a unique free, meditation series called On Becoming Fearless, a 21 Day Meditation Journey. Join them starting on Monday, March 31, as Arianna provides “a daily roadmap to increased confidence and fearlessness in every aspect of life.”

Each day begins with an exploration into a specific aspect of becoming fearless, including:

  • Self-Confidence
  • Approval from Within
  • Going beyond simply “surviving” to THRIVING every day when presented with adversity, challenge and change.
  • Living the next day of your life more boldly and fearlessly than ever before.

This program will share insights from Arianna’s book, On Becoming Fearless in Love, Work and Life, each day followed by several minutes of quiet meditation and “a powerful thought to focus on throughout the day.”

This series is the first of its kind. And bonus, it’s FREE. Now to start and STICK with it! (Maybe she won’t put me to sleep like my man, Deepak!) Check it out HERE.

SBBC2014LogoSpring is coming – I just know it! It’s time for Run to the Finish’s “Spring Booty Buster Challenge.” What is that? It is a 7 week, kick start program to help you to eat clean, workout, feel great and win prizes! And, it costs less than $20! I did this challenge and a few others that Amanda hosted last year. It was a lot of fun and a way to be more mindful of what you eat and how you move.

Here’s Amanda’s description:

7 weeks of tracking “points” for being active and eating clean, while getting non-stop support from other women who are exactly like you. Sometimes they’ll wrap you in a bear hug and other days text you at 5AM to get your a** to the gym. It’s about prizes and habits and finding the fun in healthy living.

You can sign up today! The challenge starts on March 17 and runs through May 4. You will get email support, an active Facebook group, a chance to win great prizes and a healthy dose of motivation!

Click HERE to register. And if you do, please tell her I sent you in the referral field :).
