My easy shake! It was delicious! But a word of warning, the vanilla shake is a greenish shade. That takes a bit of getting used to!

I got to try Vega’s Vega One Vanilla Nutritional Shakes as a part of the #OneChange campaign. I realized that the nutritional shake is more like a healthy (gluten free, dairy free, vegan) version of my old Alba Shakes that I used to drink in high school. (Yes, I am THAT old.)

I am pretty completely lazy about blenders and smoothies. I loved the fact that this shake mixed up smoothly and easily with a Blender Bottle. I mixed a cup of Blue Almond Unsweetened Almond Milk, half of an individual shake packet and some pumpkin pie spice in my blender bottle and shook it. Then I added ice, shook a bit more and voila! A yummy, nutritious drink. I like that I can easily make this at home or at work. It tasted good and was very filling. It will be a perfect afternoon or mid-morning snack (or a full packet for an on the go breakfast).
