My PSGL (Post-Stress Gratitude List), Links I Like & a Few Good Deals…

So the work hell is almost over – big meeting ends today! YAY! I posted this link last week 5 Ways to Bliss After a Stressful Week of Work – after a stressful week (or 2), the author encourages us to slip into gratitude mode and write 10 things we are grateful for. Also, my friend, Maureen, from Ryan Wellness Coaching simultaneously posted a great blog post on having “Moments of Gratitude” (Hey Maureen – “there is an app for that” – check out happy tapper’s gratitude journal! ($.99 on the itunes store)

10 Things I am Grateful For (in no particular order)
1. Health – mine and my family/friends

2. Running – I am healthy and can run as far and (relatively) fast as I like (with #3 – friends!)

3. Friends – I have wonderful friends from every corner of my life – past and present.

4. The Ability to Laugh it off – during stressful times, laughter is still good medicine.

A “few” years ago…

5. The Husband. I got a good one and I know it!

6. A Goal – NYC marathon – I am always better when I have a goal to work toward.

(Borrowed from Sarah and Darin’s trip to SA!)

7. Anniversary Trips – we are headed to s. africa for our 10th anniversary in November – there is so much to be grateful here – vacation, something to look forward to, longevity, financial means…

8. The View from our Apartment – makes me happy every morning – every season without fail.

9. Family – mine and Neal’s are always supportive of me – heck, half on the people reading this are probably relatives!

10. Race Cars – they are Neal’s passion and make him happy. When he’s happy, I am happy, too. Winning race cars are even better, but I will take what I can get.

What are you grateful for today? Trust me, you will feel better after you think about it and write it down. Try it!

Speaking of laughing, the well daily has a great post on why laughter is the best medicine and not to be political but Neal sent me a hilarious link with “Yiddish curses for Republican Jews
